Even if everything here in Ethiopia takes so much longer time what ever you have to do allready a month gone by since we arrived.
Week 1
First days in Ethiopia we tried got used to the altitude (>3000 m over sea level) and also rest and recover from the flight. In five days we reached up to Bahir Dar with a 40 minutes flight.
Week 2
Then me started to feel sick and got a bad high fever, in 38 c´ in the shadow that wasn´t so funny. When the fever started to take off my ear instead started to hurt a lot which ended with a nasty ear infection, after ten days with antibiotic a started to fell like a human again.

Week 3
Finally we finished the house and kitchen settled. This week and the week before, we almost had no water at our house. At the same time our toilet broke so now we have no water or toilet or electricity. TIA= This Is Africa! Now we have electricity every 2nd day, so it is not really that bad, what so much worse it´s the water problem.
The other day we took a walk down town and went to a café out on the lake and wached the pelicanes, meny meny of them. Maybe you can see on the photoes. Nice café but not didn´t have much to offer for drink or food but a very nice sea view.
Ther is a lot of cafe´s, restaurant and also boat rental all around Lake Tana, Bahir Dar is half around that lake. There is a nice walking road along the lake. One day we walked a litle bit, one day when it´s not so hot a hopa a can manage and at least go a few hours and discover more places.
Soon will more photoes about Ethiopia and it´s culture come up here. To be continued…
